Learn To Ride by Bike NY

Parent Guidelines for Bike Skills 101: Learn to Ride – Kids

Register to Learn To Ride (for kids)

Overview:

  • What It Is:
A free group class for children aged 5 and up who are ready to transition from training wheels to riding a two-wheeler.

  • What Your Child Will Learn:
Basic bike skills including balancing, pedaling, starting, stopping, and steering using our safe, easy, and effective method taught by experienced instructors.

  • Outcome:
Most kids master the basics in one session. Even if your child needs extra practice, you’ll leave with a low-stress technique to help them ride independently.
