  • [Event Details] Pineapple will team with the City Parks Foundation and Parks Dept to clean up the waterfront section of Bensonhurst Park. We will meet up in front of 9000 Bay Parkway (MatchPoint sports complex) in the morning and with the help and guidance of the Parks Dept team we will take our first step towards permanent stewardship of the area.

Plaza 2025 Summer Open Streets

This was an 8‑week Open Streets series at 9100 Bay Parkway in Brooklyn! In collaboration with NYC DOT and StreetLab, Pineapple Ride transformed the space into a vibrant community hub focused on bike safety and exploration. Free bike repairs and safety classes, live music, local art, coffee pop‑ups, exclusive merch, giveaways, family-friendly fun, and special programming—was all free to attend. Everyone came to celebrate safe, joyful riding in one of Brooklyn’s most scenic neighborhoods.

Plaza One Day Events

  • [Event Details] This Thursday Aug 7th, FIAO will be organizing another of their Open Streets on Benson Ave. Pineapple will be there to provide light bike maintenance and tune ups. We will also conduct a quick tire changing class to help bicyclists get familiarized with one of the most common bicycle problems, popped tubes/tires.

  • Join us on November 9, 2024, for the Ceasar’s Bay Pineapple Pop-up!

    In collaboration with StreetLab, we’re transforming Ceasar’s Bay into a vibrant community space with a street closure event that celebrates exploration, culture, and connection. Enjoy free bike repairs, bike safety classes, hot beverages, local art and prints, apparel and merch, and exciting giveaways. This family-friendly event is free to attend, with something for everyone to enjoy!
