We ride in large numbers and move as a unit. Staying organized is paramount to a safe ride.

Here are the tried and true Pineapple rules for a successful ride.

1. Safety

Safety is our number one priority. Bells and lights are required. Helmets are mendatory.

2. Single File When Necessary

Cars have blind spots. When instructed by the Pineapple crew, form a single file to ensure everyone's safety.

3. Don’t Block

During stops, be aware of your surroundings. Don’t block cross walks, side walks and any pedestrian paths. If you hear “Don’t Block” then move out of the way.

4. Communicate Hazards

Shout out hazards loudly and clearly. Yell “glass” for broken glass, “pothole” for potholes, “car” for approaching vehicles, and “clear” if an intersection is safe to cross.

5. No Running Red Lights

Do not run red lights unless instructed by Pineapple guides managing traffic or any emergency personal. We will occasionally direct traffic to ensure a safe crossing.

6. Be Courteous

Kindness and respect go a long way. Use “please” and “thank you” as we interact with each other and the public.

7. No Littering

Keep our city clean. You carry it in, you carry it out.

8. No Rider Left Behind

If you see anyone falling behind, please let one of our guides know.

9. Follow the Guides

Follow the instructions of the Pineapple crew. At intersections and turns, a Pineapple crew member will direct riders. If unsure, continue straight. This helps ensure no one falls behind and maintains the group's momentum.

10. Enjoy the Ride

Have fun and embrace the spirit of adventure. This ride will have its ups and downs, both literally and figuratively. Remember, you can't have one without the other! Take a deep breath through your nose, count to five, and exhale through your mouth.
